Hello Heatwave!!!

Well we’ve had a bit of a heatwave this week in the UK, with temperatures reaching the high 20’s! So we’ve been staying in the cool of the studio - decorating, photographing and editing this weeks tutorial for the Medieval Desk, the SVG bundle is available in our online store here.

We designed the desk to compliment the Medieval Chair, and as you can see I painted it the same chalky white colour and used the Faded Rose and Ivy water-slide transfers too - the free PNG for the water-slide images is in my FB Group if you’d like to have a go at creating them yourself!

We used Brown Cricut Kraftboard for the more traditional wood looking desk and chair - and it takes a wood dye and matt varnish really well, and it gives it the nice subtle sheen which helps bring miniatures to life!

We designed the Book Nook to be a cosy replication of a Scribe’s Study , but as you can see from the White Witches Desk and Chair the files are very flexible and just changing the colour has quite an effect on the overall piece!

I thought for a bit of fun this week, and because I can’t keep everything I make, LOL!
